Join Dance Church in filming 2 Community Classes, back to back, to be aired on the GO Platform in October! This class will be masks optional. In order to allow more community members the chance to participate, we ask that you only sign up for one class.

About the event:

Dance Church® is an all-levels movement class that offers a fun and inclusive approach to dancing. Designed for people of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds and identities, Dance Church is a communal space for people who want to move their bodies.

The teacher leads this 60ish minute class in a series of movement cues, accompanied by a curated playlist of multi-genre pop music. The format is open but guided throughout. All levels, body types, identities and genders. No previous training is required, but open-mindedness is a prerequisite. Get lost dancing together — it’s the dance party you wish you had last night.

What to know:

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class. We will not be accepting late attendees, and will only allow pre-registration for class.

Proof of Vaccination:

Dance Church requires proof of vaccination in order to attend class. Please bring your vaccination card, (or a photo) as well as a legal I.D. (State I.D., Drivers License, Passport) in order to attend classes. Masks: This class will be masks optional.

What should I bring?

• Dance-able workout clothing
• Proof of vaccination
• Face Mask (optional)
• We recommend taking class barefoot, or in socks. If you need to wear sneakers for personal reasons, please be mindful of those around you.
• Water bottle

Street parking is available with free 2-hour parking on side streets and metered on major streets. For light rail transportation, NOD Theater is four blocks away from Capitol Hill station.
