About the event:

Join Dance Church and On-Running in-partnership for a free pop up class at MoMA PS1 in Queens as a part of On-Running's 4 day event Point2. Attendees are invited to dance in the historic MoMA PS1 museum space, and sample On’s premiere running shoes as a part of the experience.

Dance Church® is an all-levels movement class that offers a fun and inclusive approach to dancing. Designed for people of all shapes and sizes, backgrounds and identities, Dance Church is a communal space for people who want to move their bodies.

The teacher leads this 55ish minute class in a series of movement cues, accompanied by a curated playlist of multi-genre pop music. The format is open but guided throughout. All levels, body types, identities and genders. No previous training is required, but open-mindedness is a prerequisite. Get lost dancing together — it’s the dance party you wish you had last night.

What to know:

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to class, and no later than 5 minutes after. We encourage you to pre-register, no walks ups will be allowed for this event.

Proof of Vaccination:

Dance Church requires proof of vaccination in order to attend class. Please bring your vaccination card, (or a photo) as well as a legal I.D. (State I.D., Drivers License, Passport) in order to attend classes.
