Mar is a movement artist and Dance Church teacher currently based in Brooklyn. He cherishes his deep Filipino roots, feels a strong connection to food as passion/nutrition/comfort, and feels at home when at/near/in/on any large body of water.
When Dancing
You can find Mar drenched in sweat and feeling the pulse inside a dense nightclub or drenched in sweat feeling the pulse of a dense nightclub while grooving in his living room, in an empty studio, and while oscillating between household chores.
When not Dancing
You can find Mar enjoying some sort of sweet. Mostly baked-sweets, sometimes chocolate bars, sometimes pies, but really anything as long as it doesn’t have raisins.
