Dance Church announces pop-up class with the Great Northern Winter 2022 Festival

Dance Church®, the wildly-popular dance-focused movement class, today announced a pop-up class at The Great Northern 2022 Winter Festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dance Church lead teacher Dominica Greene will guide participants through a 55ish-minute class with support from lead teacher Tariq Mitri. The class will be guided through a series of movement cues accompanied by a curated playlist of multi-genre pop music on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10am at the historic First Avenue Theater.

The Great Northern (January 27-February 6, 2022) brings together 10 days of diverse programming to invigorate the mind and body. With over 50 innovative events planned for the 2022 Winter Festival, Dance Church is honored to participate.

“We are so excited to be bringing Dance Church back to Minneapolis,” said Kate Wallich, Dance Church Founder and Chief Creative Officer, referencing the first ever Dance Church pop-up which was co-presented by Liquid Music and the Walker Art Center in 2019. “Kate Nordstrum’s vision and programming for The Great Northern’s 2022 season is a perfect match for our community and we are thrilled to be dancing in the historic First Avenue Theater, the birthplace of so many inspiring dancers and performers,” said Wallich.
