We've compiled a list of organizations raising money to support those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey. We encourage you to donate if you have the means.

• UNHCR: This organization is part of the UN that specifically addresses the needs of refugees. (Thank you Tariq for pointing out that this earthquake has severe social implications, especially within the community of refugees who are already in dire situations)

• UNICEF is allocating donations/funds to children and families

• Mercy Corps is driving aid those affected in northwest Syria, where a number of people were living in camps due to continued armed warfare

• Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are working with health authorities to provide medical aid
