Women's History Month: Week 3
Dance Church is a dancer-led, femme-driven space thanks to the heart, commitment and loving energy of our community. This month, we are celebrating all women — cis, trans, femme, non-binary women — who continue to inspire and pave the way for gender equality.
For Week 3 of Women's History Month, we are highlighting a group of groundbreaking choreographers who not only deeply inspire us, but have contributed greatly to the contemporary dance landscape with their innovative vision and inclusive storytelling — Bebe Miller, Juliana F. May, Okwui Okpokwasili, Emily Johnson, Leslie Parker, and Milka Djordjevich.
