Gabriel is a dance, video, and drag performance-based artist who was born in The Bay and has been lucky enough to find home in: California, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, and Taiwan. He is a former Fulbright scholar, a graduate of Beloit College, and current grad student at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
When Dancing
Gabriel's dance works are political and joyful. He takes pride in sharing and honoring the histories of his communities by placing them on stage/screen. He loves how silly and authentic dancing every day allows living to be and aspires to share this with people he loves.
When Not Dancing
When i'm not dancing, i'm going to be reading gay poetry, watching art house movies, and eating good.
