Carlin Kramer — dance artist from Seattle, WA, received her training at The Alonzo King Lines Ballet Training Program in SF. She's been going to Dance Church since 2014 and began teaching in 2019. Carlin worked with YC2 for three seasons and has worked with Seattle artist Jody Kuehner (Cherdonna Shinatra) since 2018. Carlin also co-created the collective Roughouse, and performed in Solo: A Festival of Dance at On The Boards in February 2020.
When Dancing
When dancing, Carlin elevates and transforms. She feels happiest and most powerful when she is drenched in sweat and filled with endorphins. Carlin loves to stomp, step touch, thrash, and jump. Dancing brings Carlin closer to herself, and will be forever what makes her shine the brightest.
When not Dancing
When not dancing, Carlin loves making clothes and dressing up, blasting music in her room or car, and soaking up sunshine. She loves camping with her friends, eating treats, and thriving in the summer.
