I developed this ritual: every time I prep a Dance Church class I need to go on a steady walk and listen to my whole playlist start to bottom. Rain, shine, heat wave, snow storm, no matter what. Sometimes a song just hits so hard and I must stop and dance… like nobody’s watching. Sometimes people watch. Often people smile.
